Gartner gives Cloudian HyperStore® the highest score
Top marks for HyperStore® object storage platform in Gartner “2020 Critical Capabilities for Object Storage” report in all use cases
Munich, November 4th, 2020 – Cloudian® announced today that its HyperStore® object storage platform received the highest ratings in all use cases in the Gartner “2020 Critical Capabilities for Object Storage” report. Gartner explains in the report: “In this study, we are evaluating 11 object storage products based on eight critical functions in use cases that are relevant to I&O executives.”
On a five-point scale, HyperStore had the following use case ratings:
- Hybrid Cloud Storage – 4.25
- Analytics – 4.23
- Cloud storage – 4.23
- Archiving – 4.21
- Backup – 4.20
According to Gartner, “completes the investigation, Critical Capabilities’ Gartner’s Magic Quadrant by enabling a deeper understanding of the product or services offered by the provider, and determines the extent to which they are suitable for different applications.” [*]
