Storage Industry Veteran to Ramp Up Sales and Systems Engineering Organizations, Accelerate Adoption of Cloudian HyperStore® Products Around the World
Foster City, Calif., Sept 25, 2014—Cloudian, Inc., the leading provider of hybrid cloud storage solutions, has appointed Jon Ash vice president of worldwide sales. Ash will manage Cloudian’s direct and channel sales teams, as well as its systems engineering organization, to continue the rapid growth already taking place across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
A storage industry veteran, Ash most recently was vice president of sales at storage software vendor Nexenta. Prior to that he held senior sales leadership positions at Storwize, MaXXan, nStor and Unisys. Ash is a graduate of the University of Warwick in London. He will be based in Cloudian’s Foster City headquarters.

Earlier this month, Cloudian introduced Cloudian HyperStore 5.0 software and Cloudian HyperStore appliances, the company’s first storage appliance offering. In July, the company announced a Series C funding round of $24 million.
