Cloudian HyperStore is a scale-out object storage system that provides a fast, cost-effective backup and archive storage platform. With native S3 support introduced in Veeam V9.5 Update 4, MSPs can deploy the Veeam-Cloudian solution to create various data protection services in a timely and cost-effective manner.

High-Speed Recovery (RTO) and Data Loss Avoidance (RPO)
Veeam Backup & Replication Cloud Tier supports a full recovery option directly from HyperStore without the need to rehydrate primary backup data, thereby enabling low Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs). The solution also offers multiple data protection options for fast, reliable, and efficient backups. With Cloudian as the economical scalable object storage target, this enables low Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) with built-in, streamlined disaster recovery.

Multi-tenancy
Veeam’s Enterprise Backup Manager provides role-based access control to the data. Cloudian HyperStore enables creation of isolated, secure storage pools within a shared storage platform. This enables provisioning of customers with independent role-based authentication and fine-grained storage access controls.

Secure
Data-at-rest is secured with the support for AES 256-bit encryption. Support for HTTPS, SSL and other encrypted connection mechanisms provides data-in-motion security. This allows MSPs to offer data protection services compliant with GDPR, HIPPA and any other regulatory requirements.

Quality of Service
The solution provides the ability to manage service level agreements with bandwidth controls, thereby ensuring a consistent customer experience.
