Charles Eischen and Simone Morellato Will Drive Company Brand and Growth for HyperStore® And Other Open Hybrid Cloud Storage Infrastructure Initiatives
FOSTER CITY, Calif.—April 8, 2014—Cloudian, the leading hybrid cloud storage company, today announced that storage industry veterans Charles Eischen and Simone Morellato have joined the company in the key positions of senior director of marketing and director of technical solutions respectively. Each will help lead the pioneering cloud storage company into its next phase of international growth in the emerging open hybrid IT space.
With a long track record of helping storage companies build and effectively communicate their brands, Eischen comes to Cloudian via high performance scale-out NAS trailblazer, Panasas, Inc. where he helped establish the company as a leader in the high performance scale-out NAS space. Prior to that he worked at SGI, Rackable Systems, 3ware, LSI Logic, and IBM in a variety of global corporate and product marketing management roles.
Morellato brings a wealth of technical and product marketing experience to Cloudian. He comes most recently from Riverbed Technology where he was instrumental in forwarding the company’s storage architectures, networking protocols, virtualization applications, and WAN optimization. Prior to Riverbed, Morellato held marketing and technical positions at Cisco, Astute Networks and Andiamo Systems (acquired by Cisco). He is actively involved in a variety of entrepreneurial endeavors, including as founder and CEO of JustApps, Inc. He is VMware certified for data center virtualization. Both Eischen and Morellato are based in Cloudian’s Foster City, California headquarters.
