AWS CLI is the most commonly used CLI tool for moving data into and out of Amazon S3.  AWS CLI has many other features as well, complementing many of AWS APIs with an easy to learn CLI. While other tools exist today, none are as well maintained and have the same breadth of function as AWS CLI for both Amazon Cloud and on-premises S3 solutions, such as Cloudian.
