Every Enterprise Cloud environment requires a robust backup and recovery solution. We’ll be at the Nutanix .NEXT conference June 27th – 29th to discuss a new on-premises storage solution designed to simplify data protection.
Data protection requires significant storage capacity. For every gigabyte of primary storage on Nutanix, your backup environment will need at least three gigabytes of capacity. Between full backups, snapshots and offsite DR storage, capacity needs add up fast. In data-intensive applications, where storage requirements may double every year, the cost and complexity of supplying that backup storage capacity can quickly become unmanageable.
The Cloudian solution makes it simple and cost effective to provide backup capacity. Cloudian serves as an on-premises disk-based backup target that can be scaled non-disruptively to meet growing demand.
When used in conjunction with Rubrik Cloud Data Management systems, the combined solution provides limitless scalability within a single storage pool. For DR purposes, the cluster can be expanded to other sites as well, while maintaining the simplicity of single-pool storage management.
Cloudian also allows enterprises to also leverage cloud storage as an additional resource tier, or as a secondary offsite location for disaster recovery at an affordable cost. Users can move data around their primary and backup environments, as well as store data in geographically separated regions or data centers. Rubrik users who support their Nutanix environments can extend their data protection with Cloudian to simplify their storage processes and scale with growing data demands.
To learn more about the Cloudian ’s solution for Nutanix, come join us at the annual .NEXT conference taking place in Washington, D.C.! Cloudian will demonstrate the solution’s limitless scalability, target deduplication and automatic tiering at booth G2. At the event, Cloudian’s Sr. Director of Products and Solutions, Sanjay Jagad, will present and discuss the benefits of the new solution at the event on Friday June 30, at 11:10am in Maryland Room D. We look forward to seeing you there!
