Al Sadowski is Research Director for the Service Providers practice at 451 Research. For more than 20 years, Al held management positions in software development, network operations, product development and product management at AT&T, Global Crossing and Level 3 Communications. He led global teams to develop customer care applications, set cloud strategy and manage a colocation product portfolio, and he launched multiple network-based managed services for the enterprise sector. Al is PMP-certified, and he holds a BS in Business Administration from Bryant University, as well as an MS in Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Paul Turner is responsible for marketing, product planning and strategy at Cloudian. A storage industry expert, Turner previously led the Product Strategy Office at NetApp, where he guided their investments into FlashRay, Iongrid and CacheIQ. Prior to that role, he was the General Manager of the OnCommand Insight Business (which included Onaro and Akorri). Under his leadership this enterprise software business grew to more than $60M and was recognized by Gartner as a leader in the Storage Resource Management market. Paul has more than 23 years of development and management leadership, including 15 years at Oracle where he led Oracle’s Technology Alliances Division and their Support Engineering Team. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland and is based out of Cloudian’s Silicon Valley headquarters.
